dedication of children
Sunday morning we had baby dedication, we do it differently in Arizona, then some churches, which is nice too, we only have baby dedication 2 times a year, and all the children are dedicated on one of these two days, Pastor will teach on bringing your child up in the church, and remembering this day as you as a parent giving your child to GOD, and he will then have all the parents stand and come to the front and individually talk to each of them and if he had stories about the parents he would tell the stories, we had 9 children dedicated, several of the family are in our church, we do have one family that has recently starting coming to churhc, He is from the prison ministry and both parents have been baptized and received the Holy Ghost, and will be married on 04/07/07, we are so excited. Pastor will present each child with a Bible, given of course to the parents in most incidents, and tell the parents "when your child is old enough and responsible enough to carry the bible to church then let them," "it is not a play toy", he will then pray for each parent and child, and has the grandparents or in some cases the "adoptive" grandparents stand behind the parents, and prays with them as Pastor comes by and prays with them too, they everyone that wants too, goes past and greets all the family, and congrats them, I think this is an awesome thing that we do,
